Quality assurance for payment companies

Compliance-grade verification for every release you ship.

Payment platforms carry risks most software never faces: money that must balance, rules that must hold, auditors who ask for proof. Emendus verifies your releases end to end — the interface your operators use and the backend that moves the money — and keeps the evidence.

Why payment companies

In payments, a missed defect isn't a bug ticket. It's an incident.

A validation gap, a report that quietly drops a transaction, a role that keeps access after deactivation — in regulated money movement these become compliance findings, partner escalations, and remediation plans. Release testing has to be exhaustive, repeatable, and provable. Manual regression is none of those.

Controls that must hold

Access rules, validation, maker-checker flows — verified on every release, not sampled once a quarter.

Money that must balance

Settlement, voids, reversals, daily totals — checked against the backend, not just what the screen says.

Auditors who ask for proof

Every run leaves a step-by-step evidence trail — screenshots, responses, verdicts — ready to hand over.

The platform

Coverage that writes itself, runs that need no one watching.

Emendus reads your application and your existing test ledgers, generates executable test skills automatically, and runs them headless on a schedule — verifying the UI and the backend in the same pass.

Automatic skill generation

The engine studies your app and drafts executable test skills for its flows — new screens and features get coverage without anyone writing scripts.

UI and backend verification

One case can click through the operator UI, then confirm the API response, the database state, and the ledger math behind it. What the screen claims, the backend must prove.

Headless & scheduled

Runs execute headless — nightly, per release, or in CI. No browser window, no babysitting; just results and evidence waiting in the morning.

Plain-English test cases

Cases are steps and expected results in the language your QA team already uses. Import an existing Excel ledger and every row becomes runnable.

Evidence by default

Screenshots, API responses, and verdicts archived for every step of every run — an audit trail compliance can open without asking engineering.

Deterministic regression

AI interprets each case once, then compiles it to a fixed, repeatable run. Nightly regression is fast and gives the same answer every time — AI steps back in only when your app changes.

Evidence

When something fails, you get proof — not a stack trace.

On one of its first runs against a live payments portal, Emendus flagged a validation gap human testers had walked past for months.

Failed · real defect

The system accepted two departments with the same ID.

The test said the duplicate should be rejected. It wasn't. Emendus marked the case red, attached the screenshot of both rows sitting in the table, and wrote down exactly which step betrayed the expectation. The defect went to the dev team with evidence attached — and the same test stands guard on every release until it's fixed.

Stop testing releases by hand. Start proving them.

We're onboarding a small number of payments and fintech teams as design partners. Bring your test ledger — we'll have it running on day one.
